DevOps Engineer to join our scaling engineering team.
As a Sr.
DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our software delivery and infrastructure management processes.
You'll work collaboratively to automate deployment pipelines, optimize system performance, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our applications.
Your expertise in continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), infrastructure as code (IAC), and cloud technologies will be instrumental in maintaining a streamlined and efficient software development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and automate software deployment and infrastructure management processesImplement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software releasesCreate and manage infrastructure as code (IAC) for cloud-based and on-premises environments, automating provisioning, configuration, and scalingMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively, ensuring high availability and optimal system responsivenessDevelop and maintain automation scripts and tools for tasks such as configuration management, monitoring, and system maintenanceImplement and maintain security best practices to protect data and systems, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability assessmentsCollaborate with development teams to design and implement solutions that support application scalability, performance, and stabilityManage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure resources and servicesConduct regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and ensure data integrity and availabilityStay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud computing, recommending and implementing modern best practicesParticipate in on-call rotations and respond to system emergencies as needed
Experience We’re Seeking
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a track record of successfully implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines at an early stage company at scaleStrong proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages, such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or PythonExperience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like KubernetesProficiency in version control systems such as Git, and familiarity with branching and merging strategiesDeep knowledge of cloud platforms and services (AWS), and the ability to manage cloud-based infrastructureSolid understanding of infrastructure networking, security, and best practicesExperience with monitoring and log management tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack) for system performance and error trackingFamiliarity with database management and administration, including SQL and NoSQL databases.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficientlyExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teamsRelevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or related areas (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus
