Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of IT or security engineering experience, specifically with cloud environmentsHands-on experience with AWS and Azure security controls, IAM, network security, encryption, and monitoring toolsKnowledge of cloud security frameworks and regulatory standards such as GLBA, PCI-DSS, FFIEC, NIST, ISO 27001Certifications such as CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer preferredProven troubleshooting skills, detail orientation, and strong communication abilitiesAuthorization to work legally in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
Responsibilities
Implement, operate, and manage cloud security controls across Azure and AWS environmentsSupport secure cloud deployments, applying standards, configurations, and guardrails to safeguard sensitive dataConduct security reviews and risk assessments of cloud workloads, identifying and addressing gapsConfigure and maintain security tools for monitoring, detection, and incident response, including SIEM integrationsManage access controls, encryption, key management, and permissions to protect data in transit and at restCollaborate with application and infrastructure teams to remediate security findings and reduce misconfigurationsSupport vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security validation activitiesParticipate in incident response and investigations related to cloud security eventsProvide audit support by demonstrating compliance controls and security postureStay informed on emerging cloud security threats, industry best practices, and relevant compliance standards
