What you will do:
Designing and building highly reliable backend services for transaction processing and financial operationsDeveloping scalable services that support order processing, account balances, funding workflows, reconciliation, and other mission-critical financial functionsBuilding resilient distributed systems capable of handling failures gracefully through robust retry strategies, idempotent processing, event-driven architectures, and strong observabilityWorking closely with engineering leadership to define backend architecture, engineering standards, and long-term technical directionIntegrating with third-party financial institutions, banking partners, identity verification providers, and other external platformsBuilding internal operational tools that improve visibility, troubleshooting, reconciliation, and support workflowsContributing to infrastructure supporting AI-powered financial research and data processing initiativesParticipating in production operations, monitoring, incident response, and continuous platform improvements
What you will need:
Around 6+ years of experience building production backend systemsStrong experience designing scalable distributed systems running in productionHands-on experience with backend technologies such as Go, Java, Kotlin, Python, C#, Rust, or similar modern languagesStrong understanding of databases, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, caching, and scalable infrastructureExperience designing systems where correctness, consistency, and reliability are essentialSolid understanding of transactions, concurrency, retries, reconciliation, and failure recoveryExperience supporting production systems, including monitoring, debugging, and incident managementComfortable working in fast-moving startup environments where priorities evolve quickly and engineers take ownership beyond writing codeStrong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with distributed international teams
