What you’ll do
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirementsDesign and develop scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systemsSolve complex challenges at both application and architecture levelRefactor and optimise existing code using established software design patternsMaintain a high standard of code quality, reliability, and maintainabilityReview code and contribute to engineering best practicesMentor and support other members of the development teamInvestigate and resolve complex production and operational issues
What we’re looking for
5+ years of relevant software development experienceExcellent knowledge of JavaExperience building and operating scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant systemsStrong understanding of relational databasesExperience developing concurrent Java applicationsExperience with functional programmingStrong focus on code quality, maintainability, and software designExperience with reactive programming is an advantage, but not requiredPrevious experience in payments, crypto, banking, or trading is an advantage
