Job Description As the first dedicated Platform Engineer at Five Sigma Finance Limited, you will own the cloud infrastructure end-to-end. You will design CI/CD pipelines, manage Azure environments, and automate workflows for the ABIDE platform. Balancing infrastructure ownership with backend contributions in Python/Django, you’ll play a pivotal role in architectural decisions within a high-growth fintech environment. What You Will Do Design, deploy, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).Automate complex workflows and optimize deployments to ensure a seamless, secure, and scalable development-to-production pipeline for the ABIDE platform.Collaborate with the software engineering team to manage containerized environments and occasionally contribute to backend application tickets using Python and Django. The ideal candidate At least 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering with a proven track record of managing production environments specifically in Microsoft Azure.Strong proficiency in CI/CD design, automation, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or managed container services like Azure Container Apps.Working knowledge of Python for automation and the ability to contribute to a Django/PostgreSQL backend when necessary to support the broader team.
