I'm partnered with a well-funded, VC-backed fintech in the digital assets space - one of the more established names in their category, backed by top-tier US investors - on a key Senior Infrastructure Engineer hire.
This is a high-ownership IC role.
You'll be the person responsible for the performance, uptime, security and cost-efficiency of a modern AWS estate (EKS, VPCs, RDS, EC2), with genuine autonomy to shape tooling, drive automation, and build out observability across the platform.
They want an engineer who treats the company's infrastructure like it's their own - someone who keeps things tidy, challenges unnecessary complexity, and flags cost before it bites.
What you'll be doing:
Owning AWS infrastructure end to end - performance, uptime, and rightsizingMaintaining and hardening managed Kubernetes environmentsBuilding automation across dev, test, shared services and productionDriving security best practice - from application-level through to VPC, DNS, certificates and VPNsWorking closely with engineering, data and security teams across the business
What they're looking for:
3+ years in software/infrastructure engineering with strong AWS exposureDeep Linux experience (bare metal and containerized)IaC - Terraform, Ansible or similarKubernetes in production at scale, plus toolingWorking knowledge of messaging brokers (RabbitMQ, Redis) and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)Someone who's applied AI tooling to infrastructure workMust be US-based
