Description

About ARKI ARKI is an AI-powered productivity platform for architecture and engineering (AE) firms. We turn fragmented project data into a centralized, reusable system of record. We automate routine work, organize data from tools like Revit, and pair it with strong search and AI. Trusted by 100+ AE professionals. Learn more at www.getarki.com. The Role We are hiring a Product Engineer for a remote role. We welcome applicants who can maintain meaningful overlap with our core collaboration hours across the Pacific (PST/PDT) and Eastern (EST/EDT) time zones. We are an AI-first company. AI is woven through how we work, and especially how we ship product, so expectations for speed, clarity, and follow-through are high. We run a daily release cadence, keep short feedback loops with customers, and stay close to how the product behaves in production once it is live. You will do well here if you are energized by shipping often, learning quickly, and making customer issues short-lived. ARKI is interdisciplinary by design. The work sits at the intersection of PropTech and software engineering: you will partner with people who think in buildings, projects, and delivery, not only in code. Curiosity about the domain is part of the job; many problems only click once you understand how firms work, and that context is a real input to how we design and ship. You will own features end to end: partnering with customers, shaping flows, and shipping software. Some days that is React and TypeScript product work. Other days it is Python and Django APIs and data. On the desktop side it is Revit integration, threading, stability, and packaging so the web product and BIM stay in sync. What you will do Ship full-stack product: Build and maintain features across React, TypeScript, Tailwind and Python, Django Ninja, and PostgreSQLShip the Revit bridge: Extend and harden our C# / .NET add-in for Revit with WPFScale and integrate AI: Improve performance, concurrency, and cloud workflows (Google Cloud Run, Cloud Tasks). Wire LLM and vector retrieval where the product needs intelligence.Stay close to users: Partner with AE firms to turn workflow pain into product on the web and inside Revit. We are looking for... You do not need to be senior in every area below. We expect deep strength in one of these lanes (typically full‑stack web or desktop and Revit / .NET), plus a track record of learning adjacent stacks quickly and shipping with them. The rest should be meaningful experience you can grow from, not mastery on day one. Product-minded builder: You care about UX and outcomes, not only implementation.Full-stack web: Solid React and TypeScript and Python backend experience (Django or a close equivalent), PostgreSQL, and thoughtful API design.Desktop and plugin strength (strongly valued): Comfort shipping Windows desktop softwareSystems thinking: Debugging cross-process issues, API reliability, and performance under real customer load.Communication: Clear collaboration with engineers and non-technical clients.Education: Bachelor's in CS, engineering, or equivalent experience.Bonus Experience with vector search, LLM or VLM (vision / visual language model) integrations, model fine-tuning or domain adaptation, or high-concurrency cloud backends.Revit API or other CAD and BIM extensibilityCI/CD for desktop: e.g. NUKE, GitHub Actions, Inno Setup Why Join ARKI? A Playground for Growth: You don't need to be an expert in everything on day one. We hire for a "spike" in either web or desktop/Revit, which means we actively want to pay you to learn the other side on the job. You will emerge as a highly versatile, cross-domain engineer.Bleeding-Edge Tech: You aren't just maintaining legacy code. You will be getting your hands dirty with applied AI, from vector search and LLMs to Vision Language Models (VLMs) solving novel problems that haven't been solved in this industry yet.Zero Bureaucracy, High Autonomy: You won't be a cog in a massive machine. You will own entire features end-to-end, speak directly with the people using your product, and see your code go live in a matter of days.AI-Supercharged Workflow: Because we are AI-first, we practice what we preach internally. You'll be equipped with the best AI coding tools available, allowing you to bypass boilerplate and focus entirely on the hard, interesting engineering problems.Remote & Flexible: We trust our team. Enjoy the flexibility of a remote-first culture that values your output and impact over hours logged at a desk.
