Job Title: DevOps Engineer - ADO
Pay: $65 hr/w-2
Location: 100% Remote
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer specializing in Azure DevOps (ADO) to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team for a 4-month contractual engagement.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience managing enterprise Azure DevOps environments, with a focus on platform governance, security, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile support.
This role offers the opportunity to work on Azure production environments, driving platform improvements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize deployment workflows and security compliance.

Requirements
Proven experience administering Microsoft Azure DevOps in an enterprise setting.Expertise in Azure DevOps projects, repositories, pipelines, boards, and permissions management.Strong understanding of Git workflows, branch policies, and repository governance.Experience governing CI/CD pipelines, including YAML pipelines and build/release workflows.Knowledge of DevSecOps principles, security integrations, and compliance standards.Skilled in troubleshooting permissions, pipelines, repositories, and platform integrations.Excellent communication skills to guide teams and document best practices.Ability to partner effectively with engineering, security, and Agile teams.Certifications in Azure DevOps or Azure Cloud are a plus.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Azure DevOps platform components including projects, repos, pipelines, and boards.Standardize configurations, manage permissions, and optimize asset cleanup for governance.Monitor platform health, usage, and costs to implement continuous improvements.Govern and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, branch policies, and build validations.Collaborate with security teams to enforce DevSecOps practices and implement security guardrails.Support Agile teams with Azure Boards configuration for Scrum, Kanban, and other workflows.Integrate Azure DevOps with security, cloud, and reporting tools, managing service connections and APIs.Lead governance forums, develop standards, and ensure compliance across platform use.
