The Opportunity
We’re looking for a hands-on Founding Software Engineer to help build the foundation of SideKix our product, our technology and our culture.
This isn’t a “job.” It’s a build-it-together-from-zero partnership.
You’ll own architecture, development and the evolution of the platform as we prepare to scale nationwide.
What You’ll do
Partner directly with leaders on product vision and executionBuild and scale SideKix from MVP forward, as both coder and strategistArchitect and deploy infrastructure across React, Node.js, Firebase, Google APIs and AWSDesign and implement gamification systems that drive engagement and retentionAutomate app maintenance, release cycles and bug fixes for reliability and scaleOwn analytics and data gathering, with attention to security and compliance basicsLead post-launch improvements using real user data and feedbackDashboard design and creationManage performance monitoring, crash reporting, and securityOptimize hosting and backend systems for performance and costWrite clean, maintainable code with documentation that lastsBuild, launch, and maintain native iOS and Android apps, as well as cross-platform apps using React Native or Flutter
What You Bring
Hands-on experience building and shipping native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) apps, plus cross-platform development using React Native or Flutter, including app store submission and release managementProven track record building, shipping, and iterating.
Deep experience in full-stack development and scalable architectureFounder mindset, comfortable switching between code, strategy and leadershipExperience with cloud infrastructure, mobile frameworks, APIs and paymentsPassion for AI-driven personalization and human-centered designFamiliarity with Figma and analytics tools a huge plusBonus: Background supporting small business, creator or education platforms
