Senior Software Engineer PHP Symfony AWS

For one of our strategic long-term projects, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong PHP, Symfony, API Platform, and AWS serverless experience. You will join the engineering team of Europe’s largest nursery management software ecosystem, supporting thousands of nursery practitioners and parents across the UK. The platform is currently undergoing an important phase of modernisation, cloud evolution, and AI adoption. This is not a maintenance role. You will help shape the next stage of a market-leading SaaS platform. The Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work within a cross-functional Agile squad responsible for building and evolving nursery management platform. The team operates in a genuine “you build it, you run it” environment. Engineers take ownership of the full software lifecycle, from architecture and development to deployment, monitoring, and production support. You will work on a modern, serverless-first AWS architecture and contribute to the team’s adoption of AI Spec-Driven Development as part of the day-to-day engineering process.
