Description
Your Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain our AWS-based cloud infrastructure.Operate and continuously improve our Kubernetes platform (Amazon EKS).Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.Improve system reliability, scalability, observability, and performance.Implement deployment strategies such as blue/green and canary releases.Manage infrastructure as code and automate operational tasks.Monitor production systems and proactively resolve incidents.Optimize cloud costs while maintaining high availability.Collaborate closely with developers to improve deployment processes and platform reliability.Support secure and compliant cloud operations for healthcare applications.
Your profile
Required
Strong Linux administration skills, including shell scripting.Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, SSL/TLS, VPCs, load balancing).Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services, especially:Amazon EKSAmazon S3Route 53CloudWatchExperience deploying, operating, and scaling Kubernetes workloads.Experience with Docker and containerized applications.Knowledge of deployment strategies such as blue/green or canary deployments.Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL (MongoDB Atlas is a plus).Experience operating applications across multiple AWS regions.Understanding of cloud cost optimization strategies.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
Nice to Have
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar).Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).Experience with Karpenter for Kubernetes autoscaling.Knowledge of cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, secrets management).Experience working in regulated environments (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms.Scripting experience with Bash and Python.Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible.Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Teams.
