Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance backend game services using Modern Java (Java 17/21+).Build low-latency APIs and distributed services capable of handling high volumes of concurrent transactions.Collaborate with game designers, mathematicians, product teams, and client developers to transform game specifications into robust backend solutions.Standardize core business logic and calculation engines into reusable backend components.Write comprehensive unit tests and continuously optimize service performance, reliability, and scalability.Participate in code reviews, share engineering best practices, and contribute to a collaborative development culture.Work closely with engineering teams across multiple international studios to build next-generation gaming platforms.
Qualifications
2+ years of professional software development experience.Strong expertise in Modern Java (Java 17/21+).Experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable, high-throughput backend services.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.Upper-Intermediate English or higher, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international team.Nice to Have
Background in probability, statistics, or mathematical modeling.Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases.Familiarity with scripting languages for automation, validation, or data processing.Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or LLM-powered coding assistants.
