About the role This is a true end-to-end AI engineering role with real ownership from day one. You'll design, build and deploy production-grade agentic AI systems, taking responsibility for everything from retrieval pipelines and LLM orchestration through to evaluation, monitoring and continuous improvement.Working across the full AI stack, you'll build scalable data pipelines, architect reliable AI infrastructure, and integrate intelligent agents directly into the product. You'll collaborate closely with a high-calibre engineering team, turning complex real-world workflows into AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable impact for customers.This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, high-growth startup where you'll have founder-level ownership, influence technical direction, and play a key role in shaping how AI is applied to solve real-world problems at scale. What you'll bring Proven experience building and deploying production-grade AI/LLM systems or autonomous agents.Strong Python development skills with experience designing scalable backend systems.Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, RAG, hybrid search, retrieval pipelines or agent frameworks.Experience building AI evaluation, monitoring and feedback systems to improve model performance.Strong understanding of data engineering and processing large volumes of unstructured data.Experience with modern AI infrastructure, model serving and scaling production workloads.Full-stack experience with React, TypeScript or FastAPI would be advantageous.High agency, strong product thinking and the ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges from idea through to production.
