The Role We are looking for a hands-on developer to play a key role in designing, developing, and evolving our payment platform and internal tools. You will collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams to build scalable systems, roll out new payment features, and continuously optimize our services. What You Will Do Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and Symfony while implementing new payment methods and features.Platform Architecture: Build scalable, reliable APIs for internal and external systems, ensuring top-tier performance and maintainability.AI-Assisted Engineering: Utilize and integrate AI development tools (Claude Code, AI copilots) to accelerate workflows and pioneer modern development practices within the team.Testing & Quality Assurance: Write and maintain unit and integration tests, debug production issues, and champion high software quality.Security & Compliance: Apply strict security best practices for payment systems and contribute to our PCI-compliant infrastructure.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with product and engineering teams, providing technical guidance and mentoring. Core Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in PHP development with strong OOP and software architecture skills.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field (or equivalent practical experience).Languages: Full fluency in French and English (strong communication skills are essential).Mindset: A proactive problem-solver with the ability to quickly take ownership of production systems.
