Senior Software Developer (Java & Kotlin)

Project Description: Our client(One of the largest investment banks in Southeast Asia) is building a platform for end-to-end processing of Structured products with current focus on Equity derivatives. Primary objective is to build a robust platform which caters to the existing pain points without compromising on the required efficiencies . Responsibilities: Individual contributor and ability to demonstrate advanced software coding skills, a solid grasp of software architecture and object oriented design concepts and design patternsSuccessful candidate will drive the implementation, experimentation of new solution/application initiatives. Looking for one who loves clean code and test driven development (TDD)End to end development of highly available REST API, streaming and batch applications using Java and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Integration, MVC, Security, Data, Batch etc), Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc. Mandatory Skills Description: Overall 8+ years of experience in Java & KotlinStrong knowledge on Equity derivativesExperience in multi-tiered and distributed applications and service architecturesGood experience building RESTFUL web services and understanding of the REST architecture constraints Working experiences in CI/CD Build tools - Gradle/Maven Continuous Integration tools - Jenkins Source Control - Bit Bucket /GitHubGood experience building RESTFUL web services and understanding of the REST architecture constraintsEffective end-to-end execution of development & release phasesProvides expertise to identify and translate system requirements into software design artifactsInterface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resourcesReview the design of existing applications and provide recommendations to increase the system's robustness/scalability/performance/maintainabilityParticipate in code review activities and ensure quality standards are met.
