About the Opportunity: The SOFTWARE ENGINEER III is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services, frontend applications, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. The role contributes to delivering secure and high-quality software that supports enterprise platforms and automation workflows. This position is critical for advancing the organization's capabilities in cloud-native and serverless architectures, data transformation, and full-stack application development. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.Build and document RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger.Implement data validation and API response modeling with Pydantic.Develop secure authentication and authorization using django-rest-knox, OAuth, and Azure AD integrations.Create and maintain frontend applications using Nuxt, Vue, and TypeScript.Manage frontend state and build responsive UI with Pinia, Tailwind CSS, and Nuxt UI.Design and optimize data engineering pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and validation.Build ETL/ELT workflows using AWS Glue, Pandas, and NumPy.Implement event-driven architectures with AWS SQS, SNS, Lambda, and EventBridge.Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Mangum.Manage caching and sessions with Redis/ElastiCache.Design and optimize relational databases with PostgreSQL.Develop modular adapter patterns for data integrations.Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and Terraform.Support containerization and deployment with Docker and Amazon ECR.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.Ensure software quality through various testing practices.Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.Follow AWS security and operational best practices. Requirements: Proficiency in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.Experience with Pydantic for data validation.Skilled in RESTful API design and documentation.Knowledge of token-based authentication and OAuth.Experience with asynchronous processing and serverless architectures on AWS.Familiarity with Redis for caching.Strong skills in PostgreSQL database design and optimization.Proficiency with Pandas and NumPy for data processing.Experience with frontend frameworks Nuxt, Vue, TypeScript, and state management with Pinia.Knowledge of Tailwind CSS and component libraries.Experience with AWS Glue and data engineering pipelines.Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and Terraform.Experience with Docker, Amazon ECR, and CI/CD pipelines.Testing expertise with pytest, Vitest, and related tools.Ability to work in distributed Agile teams.
