Frontend Developer II - WFH

About the Opportunity A fast-growing, highly profitable fintech company is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help improve and expand its customer-facing financial product. The company serves a sophisticated customer base and is focused on delivering a premium product experience. You’ll work closely with product and design teams to turn ideas into polished user experiences while helping shape the frontend architecture and engineering standards as the team grows. Rather than focusing solely on completing assigned tickets, you’ll take ownership of meaningful product areas, contribute to technical decisions, and help build applications that are scalable, maintainable, and intuitive for end users. Key Responsibilities • Build polished, high-quality customer-facing interfaces using React and TypeScript. • Partner with product managers and designers to develop new features and bring product concepts to life. • Help define and improve frontend architecture, reusable patterns, and engineering standards. • Take ownership of important product areas, from implementation through ongoing improvement. • Contribute to technical direction and help establish practices that support the team's continued growth. • Maintain high standards for UI/UX, visual consistency, usability, and overall product quality. • Build production-ready frontend applications with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and reliability. • Consider the end-user experience when making technical and design decisions, paying attention to the details that make a product feel polished. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of software engineering experience. • Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript. • A strong eye for UI/UX, visual detail, and design quality. • Experience building and maintaining production-grade customer-facing applications. • Understanding of frontend architecture, scalability, and maintainable software design. • Ability to take ownership of product development and contribute beyond individual feature delivery. • Interest in working closely with product and design teams to create high-quality user experiences. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in a startup or big technology company. • Familiarity with Redux for state management. • Experience with Python and Django. • Familiarity with PostgreSQL. • Experience in financial services or fintech.
