About the Role FE.Oi is looking for a Frontend Engineer to build and maintain user interfaces for its web applications. In this remote, full-time role, you will work closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver responsive, accessible, and reliable web experiences. Your responsibilities will include developing frontend components, integrating them with backend services, improving application performance, and ensuring compatibility across browsers and devices. You will also participate in code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, help clarify requirements, and contribute to ongoing improvements in the user experience. This position is suited to someone with a strong foundation in frontend development, an understanding of end-to-end web application development, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain user interfaces for web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries. • Develop responsive layouts that provide a consistent experience across different devices and screen sizes. • Integrate frontend components with backend services to support application functionality. • Optimize frontend performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. • Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to develop and refine product features. • Participate in code reviews and follow practices that support clean, maintainable, and reliable code. • Maintain accessibility standards across user interfaces. • Help clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities to improve the overall user experience. • Contribute to team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of development practices. Required Qualifications • Strong frontend development skills, including experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries. •Knowledge of web development and responsive web design, with the ability to build accessible, mobile-friendly interfaces. • Understanding of software development and backend web development sufficient to collaborate on end-to-end features. • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, testing practices, and modern build tools. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. • Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
