About The Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead Full Stack Developer to join our client's vibrant team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of their customer-facing platforms, involving hands-on technical leadership from the initial design stages through to production deployment. The successful candidate will work within a modern cloud-based stack, deploying updates and new features on a daily basis in a live environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence technical direction, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor a high-performing development squad. The role requires a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive background in full stack development, with over 10 years of experience in the field. They should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, demonstrating proficiency in building scalable and maintainable systems. A solid understanding of system design principles, architecture patterns, and SaaS platform development is essential. Candidates must have experience working in mature CI/CD environments, emphasizing automation, security, and continuous deployment. A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and real-world experience is required. Additionally, excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and a keen interest in leveraging AI for software development are highly desirable. Responsibilities Lead the technical delivery of projects within a high-performing development team, ensuring timely and quality outputs.Contribute to solution design, system architecture, and domain modeling to create robust and scalable platforms.Develop proof-of-concept prototypes and address complex or uncertain technical challenges through spikes and experimentation.Break down business requirements into well-defined epics and user stories, collaborating closely with product and initiative managers.Write and deliver production-ready code across the full technology stack, adhering to best practices and coding standards.Ensure the software developed meets high standards of quality, performance, security, and maintainability.Support and optimize live systems post-deployment, troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements.Influence and shape the technical direction, tooling, and engineering practices across the wider team.
