Why This Role Matters We're seeking an experienced IT Commissioning & Deployment Engineer to play a critical role in the successful delivery of technology infrastructure across new aged care developments, major site expansions and strategic technology projects. What You Will Be Doing Reporting to the Head of PMO, you will be responsible for the end-to-end commissioning and deployment of IT infrastructure, systems and technology solutions for new and existing facilities. You'll work closely with project teams, operational stakeholders, clinical teams, vendors and construction partners to ensure technology environments are tested, operationally ready and successfully transitioned into business-as-usual operations. As part of your role, you will be required to travel locally and interstate. Key Responsibilities Lead the technical commissioning and deployment workstream for new facilities, site expansions and major technology initiatives.Coordinate deployment activities across infrastructure, applications, cyber security, service desk and operational teams.Review construction and technical documentation, conduct site surveys and manage IT design requirements.Oversee equipment staging, configuration and deployment, including networks, servers, devices and access control systems.Develop and execute commissioning, testing, migration and cutover plans.Manage technical readiness, risk, defects and acceptance activities.Support go-live, hypercare and transition to operational support teams.Produce technical documentation, asset records, as-built diagrams and handover materials.Coordinate external vendors, consultants and trades to ensure successful project outcomes. About You Demonstrated experience delivering IT infrastructure deployments for new sites, refurbishments or complex technology implementations.Hands-on experience with networking, servers, endpoints and peripheral technologies.Experience working with builders, consultants, vendors and interpreting construction or CAD documentation.Strong knowledge of:Enterprise networking and connectivity Wi-Fi, switching, routing and firewallsStructured cabling and rack designIdentity and access managementCyber security controlsITIL, change and release managementExcellent planning, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.The ability to travel to metropolitan and regional locations as required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related discipline Mandatory RequirementsCurrent National Police Check or willing to obtainAustralian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or valid Australian work rights.
