FULLSTACK DEVELOPER (C# .NET) 📍 Maynooth, Co. Kildare 💼 Permanent 💼 Work model: Hybrid (2-3 days in the office per week) 💰 Competitive 45-55K per annum + company benefits The Role *As we continue to expand our development team in Ireland, we are looking for a talented C# .NET Full Stack Developer to join our international software engineering organisation. *As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing and enhancing mission-critical applications that support modern fare collection, payment processing and customer administration systems for public transport operators around the world. *Working within an international Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with development teams in Germany, the United States and Ireland to deliver innovative, scalable and secure software solutions. *This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while contributing to products that have a real-world impact on how people move every day. Key Responsibilities *Design, develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using C# and .NET technologies *Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions *Develop and enhance software modules for: o Fare management systems o Payment transaction processing o Customer administration platforms *Build and maintain modern web applications using Angular and related frontend technologies *Integrate external systems, web portals and online payment solutions, including: o Smart card technologies o Credit card payment platforms o Mobile payment solutions *Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews *Develop cloud-native applications and services within Microsoft Azure environments *Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and software delivery best practices *Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery *Support continuous improvement through innovation, knowledge sharing and technical excellence Essential Skills & Experience *Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience) *Relevant experience in object-oriented software development *Strong hands-on experience with: o C# o .NET Framework and/or .NET 8+ o RESTful APIs o SQL and relational databases *Experience developing modern frontend applications using Angular *Understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles and best practices *Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills *Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams *Professional level written and spoken English Desirable Skills *Microsoft Azure cloud development experience *Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices *Knowledge of microservices architecture *Experience with payment systems, financial transaction processing or ticketing solutions *Azure DevOps, Git and automated testing experience *Additional European language skills If the role interests you, please get in touch via email for more details.
