Description
A company developing next-generation connected vehicle platforms is seeking a Senior WiFi Software Engineer to help build and improve the WiFi connectivity stack powering vehicle internet connectivity, infotainment, OTA updates, and wireless device integration.
This role is ideal for an engineer with deep expertise in WiFi/802.11 protocols, networking, and modern C++ development, who enjoys solving complex wireless connectivity challenges in embedded systems environments.
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain software for vehicle WiFi connectivity and configurationImprove WiFi performance, roaming behavior, network selection, and access point managementDesign scalable software supporting multiple WiFi chipsets and hardware platformsIntegrate WiFi drivers, firmware, and vendor SDKsInvestigate and resolve real-world connectivity issues using packet captures, logs, and telemetryWork closely with platform, hardware, security, and product teams to deliver robust wireless solutionsDrive software quality through testing and sound engineering practicesWhat We're Looking For
