Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and versatile Mobile Applications Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding high-performance mobile software. The ideal candidate possesses strong proficiency in native mobile ecosystems alongside hands-on experience in cross-platform frameworks, bridging the gap between platform-specific optimizations and highly efficient, unified codebases. You will collaborate closely with product management, UI/UX designers, and backend engineering teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Responsibilities: Design, build, and deploy robust features for native iOS/Android applications and cross-platform instances.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and architectural flaws to ensure smooth UI rendering (60fps) and responsive user interactions.Seamlessly integrate secure RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints with local storage systems and state management solutions.Participate actively in regular peer code reviews, maintain high test coverage via unit and integration tests, and uphold strict documentation standards.Oversee the build automation, beta distribution (TestFlight/Firebase), and submission workflows for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.Analyze, design, and develop software to meet user needs.Recommend software upgrades for customers’ existing programs and systems.Design each piece of an application or system and plan how the pieces will work together.Create a variety of models and diagrams showing programmers the software code needed for an application.Ensure that a program continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing.Document aspects of applications and systems as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.Create test plans, scenarios, and procedures for new softwareIdentify project risks and recommend steps to minimize risksImplement software testing Required Skills and Experience: Three to five years of professional experience managing commercial mobile applications through their full lifecycle.Proficiency with iOS/Android design principles (Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines).Core familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, React ecosystems, or Dart, as well as an understanding of how web applications translate into mobile contexts.Demonstrated experience working with local databases (SQLite, Room, Realm) and asynchronous programming paradigms. Management & Leadership Requirements Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of IT support professionals and systems administrators. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and alignment with organizational core values.Compliance & Governance: Ensure data privacy and security frameworks comply with federal regulations and state-specific mandates (e.g., NJ/NY labor compliance, data security guidelines, and CCPA frameworks where applicable).Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage the internal IT budget, optimize software-as-a-service (SaaS) licensing costs, and supervise emergency resource allocations for critical infrastructure needs.Vendor & Lifecycle Management: Negotiate and manage enterprise service level agreements (SLAs) with external vendors, IT consultants, and third-party contractors.Operational Strategy: Design and enforce clear internal policies for employee hardware onboarding, access management controls, and structured internal tracking protocols. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional work experience.
