Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mobile Application Developer role based in Riga. The Mobile Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain mobile applications that support Transferra’s global financial services, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing functionality, fixing bugs, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive user experiences. The role also involves writing clean, testable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation and architectural decisions to improve the mobile platform over time. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Mobile Application Development and experience working with Mobile Applications in production environments.Candidates should possess solid Application Development skills, including designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and maintainable app architectures.Candidates should possess proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns applied to mobile solutions.Candidates should possess hands-on iOS Development experience, ideally with Swift and common iOS frameworks and tools.Candidates should possess hands-on Android Development experience, ideally with Flatter and common Android frameworks and tools.Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs and secure payment or fintech services is highly beneficial.Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for mobile applications is preferred.Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team, communicate clearly, and contribute to solution design and problem-solving.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
