Oracle APEX Developer

Job Title: Oracle APEX Developer Pay Rate: $43/Hr Duration: 12 Months Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote a Week) This position is for the Power/Energy division. We are seeking an Oracle APEX Developer with a strong foundation in database design, PL/SQL development, and Oracle APEX application development. The ideal candidate should be a proactive, business-oriented, and highly responsive professional who can gather requirements, engage directly with stakeholders, and deliver end-to-end solutions. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, understands the business, and provides exceptional support to users across the region. Develop, enhance, and maintain business applications using Oracle Application Express (Oracle APEX).Design and refine relational database structures, including tables, relationships, keys, and other database objects.Write, test, debug, and maintain SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures, functions, and business logic.Translate stakeholder requirements and operational workflows into application functionality and technical specifications.Work with business users to clarify requirements, evaluate solution options, and confirm that delivered features meet their needs.Configure and maintain application permissions, user roles, authorization rules, and access controls.Investigate application errors, database issues, data inconsistencies, and other technical problems; implement appropriate fixes.Support application enhancements and ongoing maintenance based on user feedback and evolving business needs.Validate application functionality and database behavior through testing and troubleshooting.Communicate technical findings, proposed changes, and issue resolutions clearly to business and technical stakeholders.Participate in collaborative development activities and iterative delivery processes.Assist with related data preparation, analysis, or reporting activities when needed, using available tools and technologies.Required Skills Strong expertise in Oracle Database Design, Data Modeling, SQL, and PL/SQL.Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle APEX (atleast 1-2 years).Proven experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.Experience with application security, user roles, and access management.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Preferred Skills SnowflakeAlteryxBasic Power BIBasic GitLabBasic HTML/CSSExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsDesired Profile Database expert with strong technical fundamentals.Skilled Oracle APEX developer capable of independently delivering enterprise applications.Highly proactive and self-motivated.Curious and eager to understand business processes.Extremely responsive and customer-focused.Strong supporter of end users across multiple regions.Comfortable working directly with stakeholders and leading requirements discussions.Agile mindset with experience participating in Scrum ceremonies and iterative development.
