Cloud Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Take responsibility for the operation, stability, and further development of our managed Kubernetes services, with a clear focus on reliability, security, and performance. • Develop and operate automated processes for provisioning, operating, and rolling out our Kubernetes platform and cloud-native services, utilizing tools like GitLab CI/CD. • Plan and implement updates, security patches, and new product versions for our managed Kubernetes service, ensuring secure, highly available, and modern platform operations. • Establish and maintain platform policies and security standards and actively drive the technological advancement of the entire tool stack. What You'll Need • Several years of practical experience in operating and developing Kubernetes platforms (managed or self-hosted), with a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, security, and scaling. • A successfully completed university degree (e.g., in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent), ideally with above-average performance and a strong technical focus. • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, enabling clear communication of complex technical content within international and German-speaking teams. • A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, high self-responsibility, team spirit, and the passion to continuously improve our platform with new ideas, clean automation, and a high quality standard.
