Full Stack Web Developer Intern

WingSwept is an award-winning, employee-owned technology service provider. We are looking for full stack web developer interns for the spring of 2027. This is a part-time, paid internship, where you will gain real world experience with writing code, gathering requirements, interacting with clients and investigating new technologies. The transferable knowledge and skills acquired in this internship will help you excel in your future classes and career. We are seeking to fill this temporary, part-time, hourly position with self-motivated full stack web developer interns who will apply web and database related programming skills to help our team complete internal and external projects. The Responsibilities Of The Position Will Include Requirements collection and analysis for Web and database development projectsWeb and database development for internal and external projectsTesting and quality assurance tasks related to internal and external projectsData entry tasks associated with internal and external projects on a limited basisTechnical architecture recommendations to senior programmers for considerationMaintenance and updates to internal and external client sitesDocumentation and versioning of code and files generatedUpdate knowledge base in order to provide continuity among other company personnelInvestigate new technologies for use internally and in client environmentsOther duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Must be a US Citizen able to pass a US government background check (see eligibility requirements: http://www.dss.mil/about_dss/news/20130919.html).High school diploma, at least two years of secondary education preferredCurrent enrollment in undergraduate program with computer science concentrationExceptional programming skills in a Java and MySQL environmentFamiliarity with Linux/Unix based operating systemsFirm understanding of the configuration of basic web architecturesGood verbal and written communication skills for interactions with customerLocal candidates only: NC Triangle area Please apply today if this internship looks like a potential fit!
