Senior AI Engineer / Analyst Programmer – Enterprise AI & Solution Architecture

About the role Neorise Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer / Analyst Programmer – Enterprise AI & Solution Architecture to lead the analysis, architecture, engineering, security, deployment and ongoing improvement of advanced enterprise AI and software platforms. The role is a senior, hands-on technical and client-facing position combining software analysis and application programming, artificial intelligence engineering, solution architecture, cyber security architecture, DevOps/DevSecOps engineering, cloud architecture, data engineering and enterprise technology consulting. A primary focus of the role is the continued development and commercialisation of Propsight, Neorise's AI-driven property intelligence and valuation platform for the Australian market. The role will also contribute to other enterprise AI, automation and technology-consulting engagements undertaken by Neorise. The successful candidate will work across the complete technology lifecycle—from client discovery and requirements analysis through solution architecture, development, integration, testing, security design, deployment, monitoring and continuous optimisation. Key responsibilities: Research, analyse and evaluate complex business, user, application and system requirementsConduct technical discovery sessions and requirements-gathering workshops with clients and internal stakeholdersTranslate business requirements into technical specifications, system designs, application requirements, architecture decisions and implementation plansDesign, develop, test, debug, maintain and enhance production-grade applications and AI-enabled software systemsDesign and implement enterprise-grade artificial intelligence capabilities, including generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation systems, agentic AI systems and autonomous workflowsImplement and extend Model Context Protocol integrations and enable AI agents to securely interact with enterprise applications and servicesDesign retrieval-augmented generation systems, develop document ingestion pipelines and implement semantic, vector and hybrid search systemsDesign knowledge graph architectures and integrate graph databases into AI applications Develop production software predominantly in Python and other appropriate programming languages, including backend applications, microservices and production APIsDesign end-to-end enterprise solution architectures and design cyber security controls for cloud, AI and software platforms About you: Experience incorporating security directly into solution design rather than relying solely on separate security teamsExperience with advanced model adaptation techniques including PEFT, LoRA, QLoRA, DPO, RAFT, RLHF-related approaches, quantisation, model compression and inference optimisationCapable of taking AI systems beyond prototype stage and developing them into secure, reliable and commercially deployable enterprise applicationsExperience with technologies such as Python, FastAPI, SQL and TypeScriptRelevant technology experience may include PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Neo4j, Qdrant, Cassandra, Airbyte, Dagster, Prefect or comparable technologiesExperience with Git, GitHub Actions or equivalent, Docker, Kubernetes, container registries, automated build and release systems, and infrastructure and cloud deployment toolingCapable of designing and implementing DevOps practices directly, rather than merely consuming infrastructure provided by a separate platform teamCapable of translating complex business and system requirements into secure, scalable, production-ready technology solutions while communicating effectively with both senior business stakeholders and highly technical engineering teams.
