The Role We are seeking a recent Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Rail & Metro team in Brisbane. As a Graduate at SMEC, you’ll be part of a high-impact talent group, contributing to the delivery of major rail and metro infrastructure projects alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists. Contribute to the delivery of real projects by supporting design development, including drawings, models and technical documentationAssist with engineering calculations and analysis across areas such as roads, drainage or structures under guidance from senior engineersParticipate in site visits and inspections to develop an understanding of how designs are implemented on live projectsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design inputs and support project delivery milestonesLearn and apply industry standards, tools and best practice through structured development and on-the-job experience About You You’re a motivated Civil Engineering graduate who enjoys problem-solving, working in teams, and contributing to real-world projects.
