Your career opportunity Join HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking Technology in the Equity Derivatives Structured Products Technology team. In this role you’ll help build and run the strategic pricing and order management stack covering pre-trade client RFQs retail market distribution lifecycle management and secondary markets. You’ll be part of a global team spanning major trading hubs that ships code early and often using Agile and DevOps principles. What You’ll Do Build out and support the strategic Order Management System OMS pricing and front-to-back booking and lifecycle platformsDesign and implement high-quality solutions contributing to implementation and architecture decisions within a global development teamDeliver end-to-end across requirements analysis development testing automation deployment and supportPartner day-to-day with the Sales and Trading desk and internal Technology teams adapting the level of detail to your audienceParticipate in DevOps and production support via rota and progress automation improvements What you need to have to succeed in this role Strong hands-on back-end development experience with JavaKotlin experienceProven experience building large-scale complex systems including concurrent processingStrong knowledge of design principles SDLC and a DevOps mindset including Agile delivery automation and qualityExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a complex global environmentExperience engaging directly with the Sales and Trading desk and internal Technology teamsFinancial industry background with development experience in trading systems Nice to have AI-driven development experience including Copilot and Claude CodeEquity Derivatives and Structured Products front-to-back knowledge including trade capture pricing booking and lifecycleCloud exposure GCP and or AWSDatastores MongoDB Oracle PostgreSQLUp-to-date skills with web services and event-driven architecture What We Offer The pay range for this role is 18359 PLN - 27542 PLN monthly, gross. Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
