Supplier Quality Engineer - aerospace industry (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team in the aerospace sector. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring supplier quality and compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to address quality issues and implement improvement initiatives. The position requires regular presence at the client’s site in Niepołomice (minimum 3 days per week). Your tasks Conducting supplier audits to ensure compliance with AS 9100 standards and specific requirementsCollaborating with customers and colleagues to communicate and enforce quality requirements to suppliersUtilizing tools such as APQP, PPAP, and FAI to ensure seamless project launches with suppliersAnalyzing supplier performance data to identify trends and implement improvement initiativesPartnering with sourcing teams to evaluate and develop supplier capabilities while maintaining accurate quality recordsTraveling domestically and internationally to conduct audits and support supplier improvement activitiesParticipating in and managing upcoming projects as the responsible person from the SQE site Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing, preferably in the aerospace industryBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgy, or a related field)Deep expertise in AS 9100 and NADCAP requirementsStrong command of FMEA and risk analysis methodologiesPractical experience in supplier collaboration and addressing quality issuesAbility to read technical drawings, tolerances, and specificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholdersStrong analytical and critical thinking abilitiesBackground in reviewing technical documentation for mechanical components and developing incoming inspection plansKnowledge of reviewing and assessing FAI/PPAP documentation from suppliersAdvanced level of Polish and English Nice to have Expertise in Continuous Improvement methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing and Six SigmaKnowledge and experience in special processes, both technically and in auditing Job no.
