MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Oracle Software Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position. Candidates must have an active Security+ CE certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Maintain Reporting Instance (RI) DatabaseMastery of writing complex queries, subqueries, joins, advanced PL/SQL development including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and custom type definitions.Mastery of Unix knowledge and ability to modify and create Unix scripts.Participate in Oracle Cloud migrations and mitigate issues identified.Work with members of the software development team to coordinate Reporting Instance (RI) Database changes.Maintain RI related dependencies and daily Refresh processes.Prevent database bottlenecks and ensures rapid response times for mission-critical enterprise applications. Minimum Qualifications BS/BA/BE in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. 10+ years relevant experience in software engineeringExperience developing and maintaining applications using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle database objects, such as procedures, functions, triggers and packages.Experience in UNIXMust have COMPTIA Sec+ CE certification OR ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Air Force Human Resource processUnderstanding of EBS HCM functionalityStrong understanding of Oracle and Unix programming Clearance & Security Requirements Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain public trust clearance suitability Physical Requirements The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
