Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Urbandale Function: Product Engineering (CA) Title: Software Engineer - 125065 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Software Engineer for Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA you will be: Develop new autonomy features and capabilities for autonomous equipment from concept to production.Solve complex problems related to autonomous equipment software systems.Ensure software quality, fix defects, and implement continuous improvements to autonomous system software. What Skills You Need Knowledge of production agricultural practices and machinesKnowledge of C++ programming and understanding QT / standard librariesAn advanced engineering degree in computer science or electrical engineering.Experience with agriculture or construction vehicles or similar industry.Experience with CAN and Ethernet networks. What Makes You Standout Experience developing software in the Deere GenOS development environment.Experience working with guidance, documentation, or implement control related algorithms.Experience working with and troubleshooting vehicle electrical subsystems, communication networks and protocols. Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelor’s degree in an Agricultural, Electrical, Computer, Software Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
