Location: EAC (Education and Administration Center) Recruiting Start Date: 10/09/2026 This posting will be open at least five (5) days after the recruiting start date. Estimated Start Date: 10/26/2026 The Full Stack Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom web applications and data integration solutions that support the district’s operational and instructional needs. This role emphasizes building scalable, well-architected systems that are easy to maintain and extend over time. The developer will work closely with various teams to create seamless integrations between internal information systems and third-party vendor platforms. A strong understanding of modern database design and development best practices is essential, as data integrity and performance are critical to success in this role. Reports consistently for work as scheduledPerforms other duties as assignedAttains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance StandardsArchitects application and integration solutions with a focus on long-term maintainability, scalability, and performanceBuilds and maintains secure, scalable, and well-documented APIs and data integration solutions between internal systems and third-party vendor platformsCollaborates with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver user-focused solutionsDesigns, develops, tests, and maintains custom web applications that support district operations and educational programsEnsures compliance with district data governance, security, and privacy policies in all development activitiesEnsures high-quality database design and development, including data modeling, stored procedures, and performance tuningMaintains documentation for applications, integrations, and system architecture to support long-term sustainability and knowledge transferParticipates in code reviews and promote adherence to development best practices and coding standardsProvides technical support and mentorship to other team members as neededResearches, evaluates, and recommends tools and technologies that support application and integration development goalsTroubleshoots and resolves issues related to application functionality, data integrity, and system integrationsWorks within an Agile or iterative development process to prioritize and deliver features on schedule Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Ability to analyze application integration architecture to simplify and automate business processesAbility to analyze project requirements for impact on systems and integration dependenciesAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingDemonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeExperience building and maintaining data integrations using Microsoft tools such as PowerShell, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and RESTful APIsProficiency in developing applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET, etc.), Blazor (HTML, CSS) and integrating with Microsoft SQL Server databasesSolid knowledge of SQL development, including writing queries, stored procedures, views, and performance tuningStrong understanding of full stack application development principles, with experience in both front-end and back-end technologies Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a staff member typically encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
