Full Stack Developer Location: United Kingdom | No travel required Contract | Inside IR35 | £370 per day Clearance: BPSS required We’re recruiting a Full Stack Developer to work across the frontend and backend of a public-sector digital service. This opportunity suits someone with genuine development experience in both Node.js and Java, who can move between user-facing functionality, backend services and supporting cloud infrastructure. What you’ll do Develop frontend and backend functionality using JavaScript, Node.js and Java.Build services using Express and Spring Boot.Develop interfaces using Nunjucks and the GOV.UK Design System.Work with MongoDB and supporting service integrations.Contribute to AWS-hosted delivery and infrastructure managed through Terraform.Write automated tests and help maintain software quality throughout delivery.Collaborate with other engineers to develop maintainable technical solutions. What we’re looking for Hands-on Node.js, JavaScript and Express experience.Java and Spring Boot development experience.Experience with Nunjucks and the GOV.UK Design System.Knowledge of MongoDB.Familiarity with AWS and Terraform.Experience with Jest and Gherkin-style testing.The ability to contribute across both frontend and backend development. You should be comfortable discussing the technical decisions behind your work and explaining how you have tested and delivered production functionality. This brief needs experience on both sides of the stack. The candidate pay rate is £370 per day, Inside IR35. There is no travel requirement, and BPSS is required.
