.Net dev with Azure DevOps

Hybrid work: 3 days from the office Project Description: We are looking for a senior .NET developer to join our client's team and lead the build of a new data and application platform. You will replace a highly experienced developer, advise and guide the team, and set technical direction and standards. The team focuses on clean code, agile methodologies, and high-quality delivery. The client is from the investment banking industry. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using .NET (C#)Build and optimize data pipelines and workloads on DatabricksDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processes in Azure DevOpsAdvise and guide the team on architecture, design decisions, and best practices while the new platform is builtMentor developers and raise the technical level of the team through code reviews and pair programmingDefine and consume RESTful APIs, clearly communicating requirements and constraints across teamsTranslate business and product requirements into robust technical solutionsApply clean code principles and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and toolingWrite and maintain automated tests (unit, integration)Participate actively in agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban), including refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectivesWork closely with QA, product managers, and architects to ensure high-quality, business-aligned deliveriesSupport and improve existing applications in a fast-paced, enterprise investment-banking environment Mandatory Skills Description: Minimum 10 years of professional experience as a .NET developer (C#), with a proven track record on long-term projectsStrong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (repos, boards, pipelines, CI/CD)Proven ability to act as a technical lead: advising, guiding, and mentoring a development teamExperience building new platforms or major systems from the ground upExperience in automated testing of .NET applicationsClean coding skillsExcellent problem-solving abilitiesExperience in RESTful API designFamiliarity with agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)Good communication skills and the ability to clearly state requirements to other teams
