Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the OneState team — a Social RolePlay game with a rapidly evolving infrastructure and growing scale. You’ll work with geographically distributed infrastructure, Kubernetes, and backend services, help scale the system, and have a direct impact on technical decisions. What we want to see: 5+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE / InfrastructureExperience working with geographically distributed infrastructureStrong Kubernetes experience: working with high-load infrastructure, understanding of architecture, scaling, and root cause analysisExperience working with AWS/GCPDeep understanding of Linux and networkingExperience with GitOps and CI/CDExperience building and maintaining observability systems: monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting; ability to independently identify and diagnose issuesExperience administering and optimizing databases (relational and/or columnar)Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AnsibleProactive and self-driven: able to identify problems, propose solutions, and make technical decisions independentlyWillingness to work from one of our offices in Almaty, Tbilisi, Yerevan or Limassol Additionally, it would be great to have: Programming skills for automation (Bash / Python / Go)Experience using AI tools or agents to automate tasks What you will do: Developing and scaling infrastructure for game servicesEnsuring the stability and reliability of production systemsScaling game services and infrastructure to support growing loadsWorking at the intersection of infrastructure and backend development: helping teams develop, deploy, and maintain backend servicesDeveloping observability systems: monitoring, logging, tracing, and alertingIdentifying and resolving issues in production systems — from detection and diagnosis to implementing and validating solutionsDeveloping CI/CD and GitOps processesAutomating routine infrastructure operationsMaking technical decisions independently within your area of responsibility
