Software Engineer | 12-Month Contract | $700-$850/day incl. super The opportunity A major Australian wealth and super organisation is looking for a Software Engineer to join its technology team on a 12-month contract. You’ll help build and look after the software that supports financial advice, working in an Agile team alongside engineers, testers and delivery leads. What you’ll do Design, build, test and support applicationsDeliver new features and ongoing improvementsFind and fix the root cause of issues, not just the symptomsMonitor alerts and keep systems running smoothlyWork closely with the team to keep delivery steady and quality high What you’ll bring Strong Java or Kotlin experience, plus JavaScript and PythonFull-stack experience, including single-page applicationsIdeally you've worked in Wealth / Super or Financial ServicesExperience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra or ElasticsearchFamiliarity with messaging technologies and basic Linux skillsExperience working in Agile teams The details 12-month contract with a view to extend$700-$850 per day including super, depending on experienceWork from anywhere in Australia Who can apply Only candidates based in Australia who hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency can apply.
