This position is located in Bucharest, Romania. Cloud DevOps team managing multiple projects on GCP and AWS cloud platform for several applications and services, always on the hunt to integrate state-of-the-art solutions. Technologies: GCP (GKE, VM, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, Load Balancing, DNS, Secret Manager, Filestore), AWS (EC2, Aurora, RDS, S3, AWS Backup, Lambda Functions, Log Explorer), Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, Datadog General Tasks: Build, operate and further develop the cloud platform for Tchibo on GCP or AWS, incl. supporting tooling like GitLab or DatadogManage infrastructure for several applications, together with external app teamsManagement and improvement of shared Kubernetes cluster in GKE, which hosts apps for multiple tenantsMaintain and improve infrastructure with Terraform (using centrally managed modules and pipelines)Building and Operating CI/CD Pipelines for Applications (GitLab CI/CD)Management of Kubernetes resources (e.g. Deployments, RBAC, Ingress, etc.) and Helm releases with Flux and KustomizeIntegration and use of core platform components (e.g., Logging, Secrets, IAM, VPC, DNS)Application of secure defaults (IAM, secrets, network, TLS, policies)Support in day-to-day operations (e.g. incident response, infrastructure maintenance, performance and costs analysis)Collaborate with the centralized platform team (e.g., to use shared Terraform modules and policies) Requirements 3-5+ years of experience in Cloud DevOps environmentIn-depth knowledge of GCP (GKE, VM, CloudRun, IAM, VPC, DNS, Load Balancing, Secret Manager) and AWS (EC2, RDS, Aurora, DNS)Experience using Terraform in production: modular repositories, state management, etc.Solid knowledge of KubernetesExperience in building and operating CI/CD pipelines with GitLabExperience with scripting languages: Bash, Python, Golang is an advantageGood understanding of networkingFamiliarity with Observability tools (e.g., Datadog, GCP Monitoring/Logging) Very good knowledge of EnglishNice to have Experience with GitOps tools (Flux)Knowledge of Helm/KustomizeExperience with SRE practices (SLOs, SLIs, Error Budgets)Basic knowledge of FinOps or cost optimizationFamiliarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, PolicyController) Your Benefits: Together We Stay Different Work-Life Balance : Flexible hybrid working policy, 26 vacation days + your birthday off.Perks : Monthly transport allowance, meal tickets, health & life insurance.Coffee Lovers Welcome : Free Tchibo coffee for home and office.Innovative Work Culture : You’ll work on impactful projects in a collaborative and open-minded team.Diversity & Inclusion : A place where your perspectives and ideas are valued.
