About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring seamless software delivery across various environments. You will serve as a technical leader, driving strategic initiatives related to DevOps practices, automation, and cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will be critical in supporting complex technology implementations within a product-centric environment, often supporting government agencies and federal contracts. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, infrastructure as code, containerization, and cloud services, enabling the organization to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and reliably. Qualifications Five (5+) years of experience working within Agile frameworks, with a proven track record of implementing Scrum methodologies for large-scale clients.Extensive experience in leading DevOps initiatives, including automation, Test Driven Development (TDD), and software lifecycle management.Hands-on experience with deployments in both on-premise and cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or RackSpace/OpenStack.Proficiency with configuration management tools like TFS, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, or LVM.Strong background in containerization technologies such as Docker, LXC, Rocket, or OpenShift.Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, including the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and federal civil agencies, with an understanding of their operational environments and requirements.Relevant certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure are preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Must possess a Secret, IT II security clearance or higher. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies for continuous integration and deployment, overseeing architecture and monitoring across multiple technologies to ensure optimal performance and security.Define and implement Scrum Agile methodologies tailored to large-scale client projects, fostering collaboration and iterative development.Lead the engineering efforts for complex technology implementations, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with organizational goals.Utilize scripting and programming skills to automate processes, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system efficiencies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design infrastructure solutions that support high availability, security, and compliance standards.Support and optimize cloud and on-premise deployments, ensuring seamless integration and operational stability.Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and documentation for DevOps processes and tools.Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet mission objectives.
