100% onsite - No Relocation The State of Mississippi is seeking an intermediate-level Microsoft .NET Developer to support its IT development team. The candidate will participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, application design, development, testing, implementation, training, documentation, and ongoing maintenance. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong experience developing web applications using ASP.NET Web Forms. MVC experience will not be accepted as a substitute.Advanced proficiency in VB.NET or C# and Visual Studio 2010 or later.Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Experience with AJAX, jQuery, and Bootstrap.Working knowledge of JSON and XML.Experience writing complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures.Experience with SQL Server 2016 or later.Knowledge of console and batch applications for data interfaces.Basic experience developing web services using WCF (Windows Communication Foundation).Experience with the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through implementation and maintenance.Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git source code management.Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, time management, and documentation skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a public-facing environment, and mentor team members.Preferred Qualifications Experience developing and maintaining payment applications.Experience with licensing and permitting applications.Data conversion and migration experience, excluding DTS and SSIS migration packages.Experience with Crystal Reports Designer.Knowledge of ADA Title II compliance.Additional Information Candidates must be available to work onsite in Jackson, Mississippi.The role requires participation across all phases of application development and support.Intermediate-level position with an expected contract duration of approximately three years.
