Front-End Software Development Engineer 3 (W2 Contract) 📍 Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid, 4 days onsite: Mon-Thu) We are seeking an experienced Front-End Software Development Engineer to build modern, responsive, and scalable web applications for a leading automotive enterprise client. Required Skills 6+ years of IT experience and 4+ years of software development experienceStrong expertise with React, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSHands-on experience with Next.js App RouterExperience writing automated UI tests using Playwright6+ months using AI coding copilots (GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted development tools, etc.)Understanding of AI concepts and practical use in software developmentBachelor's degreeAbility to work onsite in Dearborn, MI, Monday through ThursdayResponsibilities Develop responsive, user-friendly web applications using React and Next.jsCollaborate with product owners, designers, architects, and back-end teamsCreate reusable UI components and maintain design consistencyWrite automated UI and functional test casesOptimize application performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibilityParticipate in design reviews, demos, and technical discussionsNice to Have Monorepo experienceTypeScript, Jest, React Testing Library, StorybookAdobe Experience Manager (AEM)WCAG accessibility knowledgeCI/CD experience for front-end applicationsKey Screening Areas Candidates should be able to discuss: AI copilot usage in development workflowsReact/Next.js state management (Redux, Context API, Zustand, etc.)Real-world experience with the Next.js App RouterInterested?
