SRE & Production Engineers | Tier-One Hedge Funds & Trading Firms | Hong Kong Are you an experienced SRE or Production Engineer who wants to work closer to traders, portfolio managers and quantitative teams? I’m working with leading global hedge funds, proprietary trading firms and systematic investment managers expanding their Hong Kong technology teams. You’ll own business-critical platforms and build the automation, infrastructure and tooling that keep trading and investment teams operating reliably at scale. What You’ll Be Doing Own the reliability and performance of production trading platforms.Investigate incidents and resolve complex technical issues.Automate processes using Python, Bash or similar languages.Improve monitoring, deployment and recovery.Partner directly with traders, portfolio managers and engineers.Contribute to cloud, infrastructure and platform projects. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of SRE, production engineering, application support or platform experience.Strong Linux troubleshooting and systems knowledge.Python or shell scripting for automation.Experience supporting highly available, business-critical systems.Knowledge of monitoring, incident management and root-cause analysis.Strong communication, ownership and problem-solving skills.Trading, buy-side or financial-markets experience is highly valued. Nice to Have AWS, Kubernetes and hybrid cloud infrastructure.Terraform, Pulumi or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.GitLab, Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms.Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, InfluxDB or Honeycomb.Knowledge of trading systems, market data or OMS/EMS platforms.Professional use of AI development tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude.
