Description

We are partnering with a leading global investment bank to hire a Site Reliability Engineer supporting mission-critical Equity Trading platforms across Front Office, Risk and Middle Office. This role sits at the intersection of Trading Technology, Production Support and Platform Engineering, working closely with traders, developers and infrastructure teams to ensure the stability, performance and reliability of real-time trading systems. Key Responsibilities Provide production support for Equity trading applications and electronic trading platformsMonitor, troubleshoot and resolve production incidents affecting trading operationsSupport FIX connectivity, trade flows and business-critical market-facing systemsBuild and enhance monitoring, alerting and automation capabilitiesDevelop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency and system reliabilityPartner with development teams on releases, deployments and root cause analysisParticipate in incident management, post-mortems and continuous improvement initiativesSupport platform growth through capacity planning, performance tuning and automationRequirements Experience supporting Front Office trading or electronic trading environmentsStrong understanding of FIX ProtocolSolid Linux and Windows administration/support experienceHands-on Python, SQL and/or PowerShell scriptingExperience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Nagios, Datadog or OTELKnowledge of the trade lifecycle and capital markets productsExperience supporting Equities, Futures, Options, Bonds or Swaps is highly desirableStrong troubleshooting, stakeholder management and communication skills within Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Electronic Trading, Prime Brokerage or Buy-Side environments. ๐Ÿ“ฉ For a confidential discussion, please get in touch directly
