Kubernetes Engineer

Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire a Kubernetes Engineer for a long term opportunity at Remote. Our Client is a Canadian multinational financial services company and the largest bank in Canada by market capitalization. The bank serves over 17 million clients and has more than 89,000 employees worldwide. Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services. Position: Kubernetes Engineer Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Required Skills for the job: As a Site Reliability Engineer within a small team, you will collaborate in a DevOps model with product development teams; designing, deploying, and managing automation tools that increase predictability as well as time to market while reducing cost. What you'll do: Strong and recent experience with AWS, specifically:EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), a top priority.IAM (Identity and Access Management), a top priorityStrong experience with Terraform.Experience with Docker/Kubernetes environments.Ability to work comfortably in a Linux environment.Candidates should be able to troubleshoot, navigate containers, and support cloud infrastructure effectively. Preferred Skills Background in software development is a plus.Exposure to PHP, Node.js, and Golang is beneficial but not mandatory.Additional AWS services can be learned on the job.
