Senior Test Automation Engineer

Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for: Senior Test Automation Engineer Locations: Warsaw, Gdańsk, Gdynia Responsibilities: Design and implement automated tests for APIs, integration processes, and data flowsDevelop and maintain test automation frameworksCreate regression tests and integrate them with CI/CD pipelinesSupport the implementation of the Automation First approachCooperate with developers, analysts, Product Owners, and other teamsSupport automation of new features and existing productsAnalyze test results and prepare test evidenceUse AI and GitHub Copilot to improve test automation efficiencyParticipate in defining and evolving the automation strategyArchitect scalable and maintainable test automation frameworksSupport quality-related activities across the teamMentor less experienced team members in test automation practices Requirements: Proven experience of 6+ years in automated software testing within complex enterprise environmentsStrong understanding of QA methodology, including test planning, test design, test execution, defect management, regression testing, and continuous quality improvementHands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworksStrong proficiency in Java 17+, object-oriented programming, Clean Code principles, and POJO-based design patternsPractical experience with RESTAssured, JUnit 5, and Lombok for API test automationSolid knowledge of REST architecture, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON/XML payloads, and SOAP/WSDL contractsStrong experience in REST and SOAP API testing, integration testing, backend services, and data distribution processesHands-on experience with test reporting tools, particularly AllureGood experience in SQL and database testing, including data validation and backend process verificationPractical experience in testing integration solutions, asynchronous flows, Kafka-based integrations, data pipelines, and event-driven architectureExperience with qTest and Jira for test management and defect trackingStrong Git skills, including branching strategies, pull request workflows, code reviews, and conflict resolutionExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution using Jenkins and/or BambooGood understanding of Agile ways of working and Scrum ceremoniesExcellent English communication skillsAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teamsProactive mindset and willingness to contribute to an Automation First approachExperience in preparing test evidence, automation reporting, and test coverage documentationAbility to mentor and support less experienced team membersExperience with AI-assisted testing and GitHub Copilot usage in test automation Offer: Private medical careCo-financing for the sports cardConstant support of dedicated consultantEmployee referral program
