Senior Full-Stack Engineer – React, .NET & Azure Location: Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom Employment Type: Full-time Work Model: Hybrid Overview Senior full-stack engineering role building and enhancing modern digital platforms using React, Next.js, C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure. The role combines hands-on development with technical design, cloud engineering, platform resilience and mentoring. Responsibilities Develop and maintain secure, scalable web applications, APIs and digital integrations.Build modern front-end applications using React and Next.js.Develop backend services and REST APIs using C# and .NET.Drive technical design decisions and contribute to architecture and engineering standards.Develop cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure, including CI/CD and observability.Collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture and business teams on digital platforms and technology modernisation.Investigate complex production issues and lead root cause analysis.Improve platform performance, resilience, security and operational excellence.Mentor engineers and contribute to reusable services and engineering best practices.Requirements Strong experience with React and Next.js.Strong C# and .NET experience building backend services and REST APIs.Practical Microsoft Azure and cloud-native development experience.Experience with Git, GitHub Actions and modern CI/CD practices.Strong understanding of accessibility, SEO, security, performance optimisation and SQL.Strong communication, problem-solving and mentoring skills.Experience with enterprise-scale digital platforms is advantageous.Terraform/IaC, Sitecore XM Cloud, Vercel, Playwright, Storybook, GraphQL, CodeQL or SonarQube experience is a plus.
