Job Summary As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll join a highly collaborative, agile, empowered product delivery team building the SaleCycle platform that powers AI-driven personalisation, intent scoring, and cross-channel activation for e-commerce brands. This is a full-stack role for someone who wants genuine full-stack range rather than staying purely on one side of the stack. You’ll work primarily in your strongest language, shipping features end to end across our React front end and our C#/.NET and Go backend services, with real opportunity to grow into our other core languages over time. We’re flexible on the exact combination. What matters most is the shape: real depth on one side of the stack, solid hands-on experience on the other, and a genuine curiosity to keep learning, comfortable being a generalist rather than a specialist. We’re open to candidates matching any of these profiles: Profile A - Strong C#/.NET background, hands-on experience with React/TypeScript, and keen to learn GoProfile B - Strong Go background, hands-on experience with React/TypeScript, and keen to learn C#/.NETProfile C - Strong React/TypeScript background, working knowledge of C#/.NET or Go, and keen to deepen your backend skills You’ll be joining a small, cross-functional engineering team spanning France and the UK, in an engineering organisation that is still taking shape following the SaleCycle × BEYABLE merger, a great opportunity to influence how we build, not just what we build. Key Responsibilities Shipping features end-to-end across our stack: React/TypeScript front end, C#/.NET and Go backend servicesDesigning and building services and APIs within a multi-tenant SaaS architecture serving e-commerce customers at scaleBuilding clear, responsive UI that surfaces analytics, intent scoring, and decisioning outputs to our brands and internal teamsWorking across the API boundary to shape clean, well-documented contracts between front-end and backend servicesGrowing your skills in the languages outside your current comfort zone, with support and pairing from the teamWriting clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices (e.g., SOLID principles, testable design)Collaborating within an agile, Scrum-driven team, participating in sprints and planning sessionsContributing to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring of production systemsEngaging in peer code reviews and sharing knowledge across our France and UK teams Essential Skills & Experience Around 6 years of professional software engineering experienceDeep, hands-on expertise on one side of the stack in production: C#/.NET or Go on the backend, or React/TypeScript on the frontendSolid, hands-on experience on the other side: React/TypeScript for backend-led profiles, C#/.NET or Go for frontend-led profilesGenuine interest in working across the stack and learning new languagesComfortable in a fast-moving, still-forming engineering organisation post-mergerA pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and evolving standardsFamiliar with git or other distributed source control systems Nice to Have Experience building or operating multi-tenant SaaS systemsFamiliarity with cloud platforms, ideally Azure or GCPInterest in AI-assisted development workflows (coding agents, LLM tooling)Exposure to AI/ML-powered products: personalisation, recommendation engines, or A/B testing platformsExperience with Docker and containerised environmentsFamiliarity with operating in an ISO 27001-certified environment Perks & Benefits We value our employees at SaleCycle, so we offer great benefits and incentives in addition to a competitive salary.
