What You'll Be Doing:
As a Java Software Engineer at Reach-U, you will play a crucial role in building resilient backend architecture, designing reliable APIs, and optimizing data-driven software solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Creating production-grade Java code that customers can trust — ensuring high performance, efficiency, and proactive error handling.Continuously improving backend systems and data workflows while proposing architectural enhancements to optimize stability.Assisting with ad hoc software and data analyses to solve complex engineering and business challenges.Acting as a reliable technical contributor across the entire software development lifecycle.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
Solid hands-on software development experience with Java and a passion for clean software design.A problem-solving mindset focused on delivering practical business value through well-structured solutions.A detail-oriented approach with a keen eye for quality while keeping the big-picture architecture in mind.Commitment to high standards in software architecture, data security, and privacy.Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch), and columnar databases (Cassandra, BigTable).Hands-on experience with applications and data in public cloud environments.Excellent English and Estonian proficiency (written & spoken).
