Senior Manager - AI & IT
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manager — IT & Network, you will own and operate the IT helpdesk and network services ChargePoint.
You will lead a team of IT engineers, network engineers, and helpdesk staff to deliver reliable, secure, and well-managed technology services that keep the business running.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of enterprise IT operations — from end-user computing and service desk performance to network availability, security posture, and vendor coordination.
You will work closely with global IT and Information Security leadership to align operations with company-wide standards and initiatives.
This role requires someone who is hands-on with infrastructure and security technologies, comfortable managing teams, and able to balance operational demands with improvement projects.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
Lead and mentor the IT and helpdesk team, setting performance targets, managing workload, and conducting regular reviews.
Own the company's cybersecurity posture across endpoints, applications, identity, and networks.
Oversee network infrastructure — LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity — ensuring high availability and performance.
Drive automation initiatives using Python scripts and tools to reduce manual tasks, improve monitoring, and enhance reporting.
Oversee device lifecycle management, IT asset inventory, and enterprise device standards
Coordinate with global IT teams on Microsoft 365 administration, identity management, and cloud infrastructure.
Manage vendor relationships for IT procurement, service contracts, and SLA tracking.
Monitor network and security events using SIEM and monitoring tools; respond to and escalate incidents as needed.
Maintain documentation for network diagrams, SOPs, asset inventory, and configuration baselines.
Drive infrastructure improvement projects — capacity planning, technology refresh, and process optimization.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or IT operations, with at least 3 years in a people management role.
Strong working knowledge of enterprise networking — routing, switching, VLANs, VPN, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies.
Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security platforms such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, or Meraki.
Experience managing Okta, Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
Working knowledge of server and virtualization technologies — VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
Understanding of ITIL processes — incident, change, and problem management.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across time zones and with global teams.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, NSE4, PCNSE, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft certifications (good to have).
Experience with cloud platforms — AWS or Azure — including basic administration and connectivity (good to have).
Exposure to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI-DSS (good to have).
